This summer I went to visit some friends on the West Coast in Silverton, OR. They have a beautiful certified organic farm where they grow a multitude of things. Among my Aunt Sandy’s many talents she brews her own beer and wine all year and then has a week long gathering of friends where we then drink the beer & wine and have a great time! My mom and I always take gifts to my aunt as an appreciation for her hard work and the throwing of this huge get together. This year my mom decided she wanted me to design beer glasses for “Sandy’s Home Brew” and the “Circle of Friends Gathering.” She told me, “Aunt Sandy likes dragonflies and I want to include them on this glass.” So I got to work. The scenery up here is mountains and forest, from the front room of my aunt’s house you can see mount hood and many beautiful fields. From that little bit of direction and my own inspiration I can up with a beer glass logo, which we also turned into t-shirt transfers for the tie-dye t-shirts we made at the gathering this year.
